As counties across North Carolina announce stay-at-home orders and with these updated government directives underway, we want to keep you informed of our plan for business continuity as we continue to move forward. It is important to note that financial services are identified as a critical industry sector and accounting is identified as an essential business in many counties.

Earlier this month, DMJ joined in the community efforts calling for social distancing. We closed our offices to outside visitors and will remain so for the current time being. The majority of our workforce will continue to operate remotely and are encouraged to do so. Our investments in technology enable our team to work offsite and they will continue to be as responsive as ever to your calls, questions, or concerns. As a reminder, clients are asked to submit documents electronically, by fax, mail, FedEx, or utilizing the DMJPS drop boxes at each office location. Email portal@dmj.com to be established on the DMJPS portal for secure document sharing.

In-person client meetings are to be rescheduled as virtual calls. If we currently have an in-person meeting scheduled with you, one of your DMJPS contacts will be in touch to discuss how we can best meet your expectations and needs during this time. Phone numbers to each DMJPS main office are still answered and redirected.

DMJPS Wealth Advisors, LLC:

The professionals of DMJPS Wealth Advisors would like you to understand that we have all of the capabilities to execute transactions on your behalf within your investment portfolios. The “Stay in Place Order“ affects the ability to operate in our offices. However, there will be no delay in communicating with our professionals in order to conduct business throughout this process.

Our teams are in the process of contacting clients to schedule updates on your plans. Many of these have been scheduled or conducted. We will continue to use GoToMeetings in order to facilitate these meetings. We look forward to speaking with every client during this period.

Looking Ahead:

We know that this is a challenging time and we remain committed to monitoring the business impact of COVID-19. Even with deadlines extended and other regulatory changes, we are positioned to continue meeting your expectations with the highest level of service you have come to expect from us.

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation as it develops and are prepared to keep you informed. As new developments emerge, we will continue to share those with you as promptly as we can. DMJPS has established a Resource Center on www.dmj.com as a source for information and insights related to the coronavirus impact.

On behalf of everyone at DMJ, we are grateful for your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we work through this together. Please do not hesitate to contact your DMJPS professional or me directly if you have any questions or need anything. We will support you in any way we can.
